recreational Rowing

Limerick Boat club currently focuses on recreational rowing, which is ideal for beginners and experienced rowers to get out onto the Shannon river without the commitment of training for competition.  

The aim is to enjoy rowing. 

There will be an experienced cox or coach with the boat to help to improve your skills and fitness. We aim to help each individual improve at the speed they want to and ensure that we all have fun. 

You will have the opportunity to row regularly weather and tide dependent, with different people.

The boats can be set up for sweep and scull rowing for those that want to experience both or focus on one.
