We recently celebrated its 150th anniversary. To mark this milestone we launched a final push in the #RaiseTheRoof project to replace the roof of the boathouse which was extensively damaged during Storm Darwin back in 2014. This was completed in December 2021. However, we have a long way to go to get the club back to its former glories, such as replacing the slipway, fitting out the inside of the boathouse now that the roof has been replaced, updating the clubhouse so that it can be used for land training and gatherings.
